We began as De La Peña Eye Clinic
It was founded by Dr. William De La Peña, The Honorable, M.D., Dr.h.c., an internationally renowned ophthalmologist and Professor of Ophthalmology, who led a staff of highly specialized doctors.
Under Dr. De La Peña’s vision and leadership, we quickly became one of California’s largest providers of ophthalmic and optometric care. De La Peña Eye Clinic was one of the first practices in California to utilize state electronic billing, and all of the clinics have always been equipped with state-of-the-art medical equipment.
Throughout the years, Dr. De La Peña trained ophthalmology residents and many international ophthalmologists who came to learn advanced surgical techniques, patient care methodology and administrative practices.
