Dr. Allegra Burgher is from Michigan, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Vision Science and her Doctor of Optometry degree at the Michigan College of Optometry at Ferris State University. Dr. Burgher then moved to Anaheim, CA, to further specialize in Pediatric Optometry and Vision Therapy at the Southern California College of Optometry at Marshall B. Ketchum University. She has continued her journey of academia with MBKU as an assistant professor where she is active in the teaching clinics, didactic courses and labs, and several national and international research studies.
Dr. Burgher enjoys giving back to her community by providing optometric services to patients of all ages in English and Spanish. She frequently volunteers at vision screening events. Dr. Burgher is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry.
During her spare time, Dr. Burgher enjoys playing soccer, spending time outside, and learning photography.
